Vintage Styling
Designed to make you feel elegant, inspired and empowered – vintage hair or make up styling is the perfect way to bond with the girls whilst enjoying a delicious 1920’s inspired High Tea. Choose from a pampering hair styling experience that’s straight out of the vintage era, smooth upswept rolls, baby bangs, waves or perfectly coiled locks. Or enjoy the glamour of the bygone era with a sophisticated make up styling, smokey eyes, vintage tea rose complexion and the essential ruby red lips.
Flapper Headbands
The perfect activity for those looking for something unique and crafty. Using fabulous feathers, faux pearls and an injection of glamour, your experienced workshop leader will be on hand to share some inspiration and teach you how to attach all the elements together in style to create your very own 1920’s inspired headwear, with plenty of laughs along the way.
Flower Crowns
Our Flower Crown workshop is all about finding your inner creativity, spending time surrounded by your nearest and dearest and learning to make beautiful flower crowns, a perfect way to celebrate a birthday, bridal shower or baby celebration. Our fun hands-on work shop includes a floral instructor, selection of beautiful fresh cut flowers and all equipment materials required to construct your very own flower crown. Perfect for a pre-High Tea event, you can wear your hand made crowns while you celebrate.
High Tea Etiquette
Named after the Debrett’s Guide in 1959, it would be inept of us not to include this wonderful workshop of manners and niceties to assist with mastering the social etiquette of high tea. Join our etiquette expert for a fun filled interactive session exploring the history, charm, and modern relevance of‘ high tea’ etiquette.
Murder Mystery
A murder mystery event is like Cluedo come to life. Each guest at the event is given a character to role play for the evening, one of the guests will be murdered and one of the guests will be guilty of the crime. Combine with a great Gatsby theme for a truly fabulous affair, rife with opulence and glamour.
Charleston Dance Class
The Charleston was the dance that captured the spirit of the 1920s, guaranteed to bring out your inner flapper. Our dance experts will help your guests get on their feet with some easy moves in the Great Gatsby style, or partnered swing. This can be used as an ice breaker or a fun way for your guests to get to know each other a little better. Perfect for bridal showers, take the opportunity to learn the best moves you can use on the wedding day.
Martini Masterclass
Our resident Housebar mixologist will teach you all the tricks of the trade that you need to know to create the perfect Martini. This fun interactive session will comprise of a brief history on classic cocktails and then lead into a fully tutored session where you and your guests will get to construct both classics and create your own Martini’s, giving you the skills needed to create traditional and unusual cocktails at home, a great way to impress any dinner party guest.
